Product Features

1. Slow start valve is used to safely establish pressure in the pneumatic system and play a role of safety protection;

2. The intake air is connected to the input P of the slow start valve. If the coil is energized, the three-port two-position valve opens. At this time, a small amount of air passes through the throttle valve to output A, so that the pressure of the system is slowly established;

3. When the output pressure is equal to half of the input pressure, the slow start valve is fully opened, and the flow rate reaches its highest;

4. When the coil is powered off, the intake P is closed, and the air returns to the R port through the one-way valve to quickly drain away, and the system pressure drops to zero, which plays a safety protection role for the entire system.

The Airtac GV series air pre-treatment unit is an alternative to the SMC AV series.
