Controlling Cylinder Speed via 4V210-08 Exhaust Ports

Mastering Speed: Exhaust Throttling vs. Inlet Throttling
To control how fast a cylinder moves, many use the Airtac 4V210-08 in conjunction with speed controllers. But where you throttle makes a huge difference.
1. The Power of Exhaust Throttling
By installing **Throttle Silencers** directly into the R and S ports of the 4V210-08, you create "Exhaust Throttling." This is the superior method because it allows the cylinder to move smoothly without the "jerky" motion associated with restricting the inlet air.
2. Independent Speed Control
Since the 4V210-08 has two separate exhaust ports (R and S), you can set different speeds for the "Extend" and "Retract" strokes independently, offering perfect control for delicate assembly tasks.
