Controlling the Exhaust: Collecting Air from your 4V210-08

In cleanrooms or food-safe areas, you cannot simply exhaust air from the Airtac 4V210-08 into the room. You need an exhaust collection system.

1. Piping the R and S Ports

Instead of silencers, install push-in fittings into the 1/8" R and S ports. Connect these to a common exhaust line that leads outside the sensitive area.

2. Backpressure Warning

If your collection tube is too long or too narrow, it will create backpressure. This prevents the 4V210-08 spool from returning quickly, causing "sluggish" cylinder movement. Ensure your common exhaust header is at least 12mm in diameter for every 5 valves.
