Digital Diagnostics: Testing Your 4V210-08 Coil with a Multimeter
Not sure if your Airtac 4V210-08 coil is dead? A 30-second resistance test can give you a definitive answer.
1. Standard Resistance Values
Set your multimeter to the Ohms (Ω) setting. For a standard **Airtac DC24V coil**, you should see a reading between **180Ω and 210Ω**.
2. Interpreting the Results
- Reading "OL" or Infinite: The coil is "open" (blown) and must be replaced.
- Reading Below 100Ω: The coil has an internal short circuit and will likely blow your PLC fuse.
- Steady Reading: The coil is electrically sound; the problem is likely mechanical or air-related.
Regular electrical audits prevent costly board repairs in your automation cabinet.
