Preventing Spool Bind: 4V210-08 Mounting Alignment

Avoid Spool Bind: The Importance of Parallel Mounting
A common but ignored cause of Airtac 4V210-08 failure is "Mechanical Stress" on the valve body during installation.
1. The Risk of Torque
If you bolt a 4V210-08 to an uneven surface or over-torque the mounting screws, the precision-honed aluminum body can slightly flex. This causes the spool to "bind" or move sluggishly, leading to rapid seal wear.
2. Proper Installation Steps
- Surface Check: Ensure the mounting bracket is flat and free of burrs.
- Torque Specs: Use the recommended 1.5-2.0 Nm torque for the M3 mounting screws.
- Tube Tension: Ensure the pneumatic tubes aren't pulling on the valve ports at an angle, which adds lateral stress to the 4V210-08 body.
